Attend Ohio's Advanced Procedures Laser Course
The Ohio Optometric Association, in partnership with The Ohio State University College of Optometry, invites you to attend the first Ohio Advanced Procedures Laser Course developed by the NSU Oklahoma College of Optometry and taught by Dr. Nate Lighthizer.
WHEN: Thursday, July 17, 2025 (1:00 PM) through Sunday, July 20, 2025 (1:00 PM)
LOCATION: The Ohio State University College of Optometry
COST: $1,950.00 for 32 hours of COPE approved hands-on education
(Includes breakfast, lunch, and snacks each day)
This comprehensive 32-hour certification course delivers a rigorous and in-depth curriculum, serving as the standard certification coursework for all 12 states that have expanded procedures. While this course aligns with the proposed language in SB36 and coursework certification requirements in 12 states, the OOA cannot guarantee its final adoption as written. We recognize that this course requires financial commitment and investing in your education now ensures that you are prepared for the future.
